Courses are taken through Missouri State alongside undergraduate students and taught by an MSU professor. Dual Enrollment courses are subject to full undergraduate tuition and fees.
Courses are offered through a participating high school and taught by high school instructors. Dual Credit courses are offered at a reduced rate per credit hour.

ACT/SAT scores or placement exam required for enrollment in certain courses.
Registration for Summer and Fall 2025 opens April 22nd, 2025 for Precollege students. It is encouraged to submit your application prior to this date to allow for greater course availability when registering. Applications will not be accepted for a given term after classes are in session.

Students can take any course for which they have met the prerequisites. Our Online Catalog provides a comprehensive list of courses while the Class Schedule Search feature shows current offerings and times for the upcoming term.
Many Precollege students take courses from our General Education program. Our Precollege Advisor can assist in reviewing the General Education Worksheet to determine what courses might be a good fit.
Students will need to meet with their advisor, Teresa Cunningham, prior to registering but after their application has been processed.
